| What makes humans special? The ability to rationalize? Interesting, if we are a bunch of atoms and molecules, and how we think is a bunch of chemical reaction, then what we really think is meaningless because it is a mere interpretation of the chemicals. Furthermore, how can the chemicals determine what is rational. Hmm, a question indeed. Now that means that you have something called a mind. Not just the brain, but something of greater value, a conscience. And if you say that our conscience is mere chemicals, think what that means.
Do you believe in a Right and Wrong? A better question, what makes you think you are doing something that's "right" compared to something that's "wrong"? There is a stronger force than the law that struggles within you to do what's "right." What is it?
| Some people will try to keep achieving their best in their life. One thing I never thought about, but would like to share, is for those who go to Harvard. After that, they have very high expectations of themselves, and if they do not go on to even more accomplishments and prestige, they will feel in a state of decadence. Now, what if you reached your highest point in life one day? Then naturally after, say 21 years of age, you'll assume life to be worthless and unpurposeful, right? And you have 60 more years to go!
Well, there is always Hope.
How I see life, when I was young, I was in my own world, my own fantasy, in elementry school, I wanted to be center of attention. In middle school, I realized a new wave of emotions. In high school, I started to realize reality. In college, I understand I am still sheltered by my surrounding. After college, graduate school, after grad. school, work. Work many years of repetitive and tedious cycles. Retire at 50-60. Then what's life about. All that I went through, all that I've accomplished, wasted, after I die. Could there be more to life then just 70-80 years? Maybe, maybe not. What do you think?

| I have to walk to and from school everyday. A roundtrip about 3 miles, excluding walks between classes.
I noticed one thing, people are generally in a rush to get to class, either because they are late, or that is their natural habit of walking. Many people pass me up early in the morning. Seldomly do people feel comfortable walking side by side.
You may ask why I take my time. I realize the importance of enjoying life, the scenery, even though there may be smoking and pollution. The fresh air each morning, what a blessing!
However, I realize that some people cannot enjoy life in the same way, life is a rush. Or maybe they don't have something in life to enjoy about?
PS Thanks for your insight cuz.
| In many things of life, desire drives us. Just for the sake of that desire, we are absorbed into a blinded world in which our infatuation overwhelms us. That is why we are never satisfied after we get that want.
Is it wrong to desire? Of course not, however you may want to double check on your motives.
